WEDDING

We first met as freshmen on Case Western Reserve University's swim team. After three years of being around each other A LOT from hours of swimming and taking the same classes we started dating. Staying together during two study abroad trips (Dan in Denmark and Chrissy in France) it was eventually time to decide on graduate schools. Fortunately, both of our top choices were at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Off we went to make Madison our new home and dive into the life of PhD students. Living in the Midwest we've been able to meet and share great memories with each other's families --spanning Michigan, Illinois, and Minnesota.

The Proposal - It had been three years since getting to Madison and Chrissy was taking Dan out for dinner to celebrate Dan passing his preliminary exam. Little did Chrissy know that despite forcing Dan to make all the decisions that night since it was a special moment for him, she'd end up answering one important (although not difficult) question - would she marry Dan. By now, I think you all know the answer. 

 

We are more than excited to celebrate our wedding amongst friends and family in Northern Michigan. Bringing together the people we care about the most and who have helped shape the individuals we've become seems like the perfect gathering for when we make the step from being a "you and me" to a "we". We hope to see you there and look forward to laughing, dancing, and having a great time together!
